Welcome to the Leys House, a 17th centuray farm house situated in the small village of Gnosall. We are ideally positioned for anyone wishing to walk or visit the many attractions of the North and Central Lakes or the many historic towns on the North Borders.
Being Situated at the foot of Blencathra, we are only 10 minutes easy drive from Keswick, Derwentwater and Thirlmere, and 15 minutes from Ullswater. All our bedrooms are centrally heated, with tea/coffee facilities and colour television.

History of
The Leys House
1920
The Leys House was originally used as a farm house.
1970
The house was extended to allow for a double garage and a conservatory was also added.
1980
Moved into The Leys House.
1985
The Leys House opened up as a guesthouse.
2006
Extension added above front annex to allow for ensuites in both the family and guest room.
